Lately there has been a lot of interest in viewing photos of the sites that different campgrounds have to offer. Let's start posting them to this thread and if there seems to be enough interest, perhaps we can make the thread a permanent sticky.

If you have recently posted photos of this sort, please re-post them here. If you have new ones to share, please do!

Don't forget to label the photos: Campground name, site #'s if you know them, area of campground, etc.

I am taking the liberty of copying here some recent photos submitted by member 'marites62'.

Fishing Bridge - This is site 60 in the B loop - back-in, full hookups (It can be tough for long trailers and 5th wheels):

More of the same site:

Colter Bay Village - This is site 40, Pull through, full hookups. It is at the end of the loop which was nice.

Just back from Yosemite. Stayed at Bridalveil Creek Campground. Great forested CG with good size sites, no hookups.

These are some of the nonreservable sites at Thomson Causeway, IL. The ones on the left back up to the Mississippi River. None of these were ours - we were about 3 sites away. Great spot! This was taken on a Tuesday morning - sites here were mostly full on Monday afternoon when we arrived.

This is what we love about Wyalusing - the view.
This was taken from one of the no-hookup sites along the edge of the bluff. The Wisconsin River is in the foreground; Miss. River is toward the back left. The town of Prairie du Chien is partly obscured by the (usual) AM fog. Wis. Ridge stands 500 feet above all this great scenery!

This was taken this morning at sunrise, from the (vacant) site across from ours. The "clouds" are actually the morning fog in the river valley.

Site #126, Wis. Ridge CG, Wyalusing SP, Wisconsin. One of our all-time favorite CGs. This site is "backwards" - had to drive the wrong way on the CG loop road in order to get in & out. Lots of sites like this, due to the way the ridge is formed.

Spruce Creek (Johnson County) CG, Bellevue Iowa - site #74 - yes, that's the Miss. River behind us!

Here's what we got to see from our site.

View was great, CG was just ok.

The campground has pit toilets which are very clean and smell good compared to some I have used over the years. Of course we have grown to the self contained rig life so not an issue. They have a dump station for use of $5. The lots on the river were $24/night. The owners will bend over backwards for you and make your stay pleasant.

Ohhhhh I assumed since this was a privately own CG that they had a bath-house. Guess no showers huh?

Still it looks very nice indeedy.
