I've lost a lot of ambition already. LOL
I am going to more than I had decided after I decided that I wasn't going to do as much as I had originally decided. LOL
Does that make any sense at all?? :h

As luck would have it we're doing the same type of rebuild now. We have a 2001 Lance that had some soft inside paneling under the drivers side front window. I took the paneling out from the inside and peeled the siding back past the window.
Looks like the wood under and in front of that window needs replaced. We also went ahead took out the front window and peeled back all of the side on the front and underneath. The top board above the window was powder.
Today I took out the wall where the window was located. I'll start building a new wall for that area tomorrow and then start building the side wall after that.

One thing about the foam board like the blue foam at Lowes is it is a closed cell so won't absorb water. This means any water that gets in, will run out quicker. Fibergrlass loses it's insulation property when it gets wet, takes a long time to dry out, but never regains it's insulation property. Plus, when snugly fit, the foam board adds a lot of strength.
