I am looking to replace the 1141 incandesant bulbs in my scare lights. I would like to find brighter LED's to use. Does anyone have any suggestions?

The indicators are a great idea. I'll have to look for some switch's with them built in. Easy to miss at bedtime.

I replaced my entire scare light fixtures with full LED units I found on superbrightled.com. They are really bright and will flood a large area. I only use them as needed. I installed bright red indicator lights on the interior switches so I don't inadvertently leave them on.

Eight bucks on Amazon. Phony as a 3 dollar bill. Glue MAGNETS to rig and camera base. I also have a rattlesnake buzzer. Real enough to scare the hell out of people.

You know what annoys me? Satellite dishes.

Especially those tripod mounted dishes.

At least satellite dishes donโ€™t bark...

We mostly boondock, and it's nearly impossible for friends to find you after sundown if you don't have some decent exterior lights.

I ordered replacement LED bulbs last year and they worked great. They aren't holding up very well though. I think the road is too punishing for them and they're starting to burn out now (about 15,000 miles later).

I'm not too mad though. They've worked well and this doesn't seem like horrible performance to me.

The old 1156 is to hot and melts the cover. Use the replacement with LED bulbs

I do not use them often, but the two in the rear act as back-up lights.
