Solar Awning

Someone finally made one, but it is not cheap and the price doesn't include a charge controller, may not includeinstallation.

A couple things I don't like is that it will let rain through. I know they did this so that it can stay open in higher wind speeds. Also it is currently offered in one size.

hmm doesnt stop rain from dripping through though.... I guess if you deployed it on the drivers side and kept your good one, might make sites tricky to find in the day of ever shrinking camp site size.

Much better to mount panels on the roof where wind will not prevent use and charging takes place when driving.

BUT only $7500 installed during preordering sale.

About $10 per watt. It is unclear if that inculcates installation costs.
