B & W companion

Going from a travel trailer to a 5er, i'm leaning toward the RVK3500 Companion hitch.
I kind of like the idea of having no rails in the box.

Any thoughts or advise on that hitch?

I dont have the Companion attachment, but I'm very happy with my B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch. ๐Ÿ™‚ If I ever need a fifth wheel hitch, it will be the Companion for sure.

I just love the stability and solidness of our B&W.
We have had it for the past 6 years and would not want to go with any other brand.
Yes it is heavy and even at 71 I can still install and remove it my self.

I agree!

With 18K behind me I want something substantial.

I've had a B&W Companion since 07'. Top notch product with absolutely no problems. Just recently updated to the new base plate with the higher capacity but have not had a chance to try it our yet. Going to assemble it this weekend and see how it works.
After 25 years of GM products, I've jumped ship!

I had a companion and it worked great for about 3 years. Finally got to where I could hardly get it out of the truck by myself due to the weight. I went to an Andersen Ultimate 5th Wheel Connection and love it!! I would never go back. It mounts to the B&W turnover ball like the companion and I can easily remove/reinstall it by myself. Hitching/unhitching is as easy or easier than the companion. The Companion is a great hitch, I just like the Andersen more. BTW it cost a little over half the cost of the Companion.

Our son and I each have a B & W with companion. I cannot think of any scenario where you would be unhappy with them. Simple and well made product.

darn good hitch. you will love it. you alone can take it out of the bed and reinstall by self. others take two people or one big ox.
