5th wheel hitch height

If I wanted to lower the front end of my 5th wheel, which would be preferred, lower the hitch in the bed or raise the kingpin on the trailer or does it even matter? If thinking lowering the hitch in the bed would put the kingpin lower and closer to the center of gravity of the truck. But them again would this even make a difference? I'm only speaking of about 2" that I need to move it.

Lowering the B&W is easy so that would be the first step. Next would be to raise the kingpin.

I'm running a B & W companion and yeah it looks pretty easy to do so.

Personally, I would lower the hitch, since on a B&W hitch it's the easiest way to do it. Don't know what kind of hitch you have so can't say about yours. As long as you maintain the clearance between the bed rails and the bottom of your trailer, it's pretty much up to you.
