The Highway US 95 from Reno to Las Vegas does not enter the Inyo NF. It is dry country and not that interesting compared to US 395 in the Owens Valley. No problem finding a place to pull off the road and boondock. There a couple of roadside RV parks in places like Tonopah and Beatty.
