Is there a switch to get generator power from the generator to the unit? 2013 Keystone Raptor..

Is it a built-in generator like an Onan? Our Onan has double breakers on the generator that connect the generator output to the trailer.

Our 2005 had a transfer switch. But I did have issues with it sticking too.

Methods of generator power

RV power cord plugs into an 'outlet' that is wired to generator output

Generator power cord plugs into RV power receptacle

Gen/Shore power are wired to 'Auto Transfer Switch' ---output goes to RV Main Power panel
(Start gen and transfer switch swaps to Gen power ---default source)

Look at your generator, does it have a plug on it that is the female match to the one on the power cord that the trailer uses?
On many, as a safety feature you plug the unit into the genny for power as a means of avoiding someone accidentally connecting to both the genny and an outside source at the same time.
