Looking for suggestions for two weeks in Florida Panhandle, in May/June.
Would love something waterfront, FHU, spacious sites.
Already tried for Gulf State Park, it's booked solid, except for some 2-day blocks.
Hoping to go last week in May, or first week in June. Will be in a 36 ft Class A Motorhome. Please Help !!!

Fort Benning Recreation Area Destin is very good. Also the small Navy Base in Panama City, NAS Pensacola has a nice campground on base right on the Bay.

Take a day or 2 break from the beach and check out Blackwater River State Park. You can rent canoes and paddle down the sandy, shallow river. Very nice way to spend an afternoon.

You can go to militarycampgrounds.us for FamCamps in the panhandle. There are quite a few.

We just spent a few days at Coastline RV Campground in Eastpoint, FL. The same outfit also runs the Coastline RV Resort, costing a bit more, just down the road. Pretty nice place.

It's just Mrs. SpeakEasy and me now (empty-nesters). But we can choose from among 7 grandchildren to drag along with us!

Thanks
I didn't think about Dauphin Island.
I will try Tyndall and, also, are there any other good Military Famcamps in the panhandle?
Also, any private campgrounds or RV parks?
Thanks Again.

Ft Pickens and Big Lagoon are both full. Might consider going a little further west and call Dauphin Island Campground

I see you are retired USAF. While not exactly waterfront, the Fam Camp at Tyndall is nice.
