Where have all the Northern Lites gone?

My search for used Northern Lite 10-2 CDs has turned up practically nothing. New ones seems to be more available but certainly not abundant. Am I missing something?

Northern Lites have always been scarce. When we bought ours, I considered us extremely fortunate to find it. But now the scarcity seems even more acute. Maybe it is related to the plant being closed down for a while.

Interestingly, there is an Alaskan 8 foot cab over for sale about an hour from me. If I was looking (which I'm not), i'd be there checking it out.

FWIW - I have found them occasionally on CL by constantly searching nearby states. You have to be diligent in your searching and you have to be quick. Use the "save search" function to save time. I've come across some good deal and when I called or emailed, they were gone in a couple hours to a day.

When I was looking I found 1 decent NL in Washington, and my Bigfoot in Maryland. Scarce as hens teeth around Houston.

I own a northern Lite they are not insulated well enough.

We looked at pictures of a 2004 Bigfoot at a nearby dealer but couldn't get excited about it. Though the floor plan was somewhat similar to the NL 10-2 CD, we liked that of the 10-2 CD much better.
