Shocks

My GF and I show dogs. She has a 2008 Chevy Express van and tows a 26' TT. The van is usually loaded with dogs, crates and associated grooming equipment. It handles the TT quite well but she still has the original shocks. The last time I drove it solo, I noticed more bounce and roll than I would have expected. I would like to put on a good set of shocks and looking for recommendations for a brand/model to give good solo and towing. My guess is Bilstein but there are so many models, I have no idea which ones. Can you all help me out?

Ive been running Gabriel Ultra shocks on my pickups and have been quite happy with them, not terribly expensive either.

The same 4600 shocks but cheaper at amazon.

Thank you. I did follow that link, but wasn't sure if the same shocks were for a 1500 van as it lists those numbers for 3500 and 2500.

BTW, shocks won't do anything for roll. You need a bigger anti roll bar if you want to fix that. That's what those are for.

Yes, you are correct about the roll. I misspoke. Can't find bils listed for the front of that van. KYB does but not Bilstein.

Bilstein only lists rear shocks for that van. KYB lists front strut/shock and rear shock as well. Am I missing something?

Bils. They are great for trailer towing because of their exceptional rebound dampening.

Bilsteins are a great choice, they will get all of bounce and roll out of the Vehicle.

On my 2006 Express based Class C I went with These Shocks The Bilstein 24-187435,Front and 24-221948 for the rear B6 4600 Series gave a great stable ride,no more bounce or porposing or leaning.
