Rv-ers prefer Duramax?

I see all of this on the forum with Dodge and Ford. When I go camping, Duramax seem to be the real deal. Yeah, Chevys will Nickle and Dime you but don't blow up, kill the tranny, rust prematurely or beat you to death.

Seems like the Duramax just keep going, have the best seats, a comfortable ride and won't screw you with warranty or even out of warranty repairs. I guess that's why I see more of them at campgrounds.

I suppose everyone has favorites.

Larry,

Not sure Cummins can handle that H90. Maybe one of them Vesper scooters, or a mini bike from late 60's with a 5-10 horizontal Briggs powering it.

A friend of mine decades ago (pre- 10 years old) had a Sears mini bike with a Briggs on it.

Funnest dam thing for a kid, loved that thing!

Rough crowd. I had a Yamaha Trail 80 when I was a kid. It was a beast. 😉

Rough crowd?? Nah, it's just the price you pay for being a popular guy! :C

I hope that bad azz trail 80 was not this one?

Where did your sweetie ride? My street Honda 65 had a double seat that many a foxy lady climbed onto. :

It was all red but very similar to that. Took it camping as a teenager and explored the forest service roads.

Well, My engine doesn't have seats or a ride that can be defined as comfortable or not.

IMO one of the best sounding bikes made. Too much bike for my skill level though.

I was thinking an old Honda 90 trailer bike would be safer for Ron.

All this about being cheap. I purchased my '04 about 10 years ago for $17k. Hitch included. I've got about 75k miles on it. Usually make a couple of big trips a year with Toy Hauler and a couple of motorcycle campout/rallies.

I'd like to try some winter trips maybe for an extended time.

Yeah, you being in Az and calling out "Chebbys" pretty much says where you visit. I think I understand where you're coming from and why you aren't a "Chebby" fan.
