Running a fridge on propane?

Roughly how long can I run a fridge on propane in 90 degree heat? I’m camping at a site that has 30amp only so I’m wanting to run my fridge on propane. Will a 20lb cylinder normally last 4 days?

Thank you! Am I understanding g so if you correctly that you can run both Ac units on a 30 amp, given you run the fridge and wh on propane?

Long time. Less time if your fridge is on the pm sunny side.

Large fridge 450W elements.....3.5A AC draw

Water heater 1400W element......11.5A AC draw

Propane has 91,500btu per gallon...20#/4.5gal cylinder----411,750btu available
Fridge would have roughly 1500btu per hour of run time
Water heater roughly 10,000 - 12,000btu per hour run time

Propane can feed those 2 appliances for LONG time.....weeks

With a full propane tank your fridge on LP mode will go quite a while, 4 days should be no problem. Our 4 door RV fridge consumes roughly 4 amps, if attempting to run both ACs on 30 Amps those few amps to power fridge could put you just over 30 amps, in that situation we have WH and fridge set to propane.

You will be good for many more days that just 4 days, more like weeks.

My three way fridge draws 2.5 Amps when it is in cooling cycle. I wouldn't think that will have much impact on your 30A shore power consumption. My experience with fridge on LPG mode is that it will run for weeks .... propane usage is quite low.
