Picked up my new '17 F350 today.

Wow, I'm seriously impressed! I thought there is no way I'm going to be blow away, it is light years ahead of my old ram!

It was difficult finding a lighter optioned truck as I saw no need for a platinum or king ranch, as well as the 80k price tag too. My local dealer of all people gave me the best price and I got a XLT, crew cab long bed, diesel.

Now to order a super hitch and frame mounted tiedowns from torque lift!

Bad cell phone pic,

Last Monday I ordered a 2017 F-350 SRW 4x4 6.2 gas
I never thought in a million years I would own a truck with a 6 foot bed ...this will be sixth Ford truck I have taken delivery of in the last 37 years but my new TC real should be on a 6 foot bed

First trip with the boat, 55 huge crabs today! 15.1 mpg going to Newport. I'm so impressed with how quiet and smooth this truck is!

You are going to love your new Super Duty. I bought a 17 F350 as well with the XLT Premium Package but I opted to go with the 6.2 gas engine. I have just over 5000 miles on it now and it hauls my Northern Lite and ATV trailer like a charm.

Might I ask which Northern Lite you have?

Thanks man! This engine is different for sure, but holy power house hold on power!

Yeah they're no joke. Will pull and haul all your stuff without breaking a sweat. I think Ford did a good job on the new body style too. Sharp lookin truck.
Did you notice more 350s for sale at the dealers than 250s? Kinda opposite of what we normally see with a bunch of 3/4tons and only a few 1 tons on the lots(all brands). Seems 4 or 5 new Suoer duties I see are F350s on the road. Wonder if Ferd is pushing the bigger pickups more.

I did. Ram has a ton of 2500's and a few 3500's.

Ford seems have either equal numbers or a slight lean toward 350's around here.

Yes we plan to buy a new arctic fox 992. I will keep you updated on the new truck. We went fishing today, over on the coast. 19.4mpg on the dash. Not bad! This was just my kids and fishing gear, no boat or camper. Tomorrow going crabbing so I'll see what it does with a small load. My boat is only 5k.

I like white. :C

It's not huge like the RAM on their upper end trucks but it's not small either. Lol

I'm not taking a poll, just curious.
What does the "yellow tag" say the payload capacity and GVW is of that F350?

Don't you have 3" receiver? Mine dually has.
Spend $30 for 3 feet of 3" tubing and that should do for light towing.
Dealers lot have high-priced units that have lot of unusable for me stuff.
My custom order dually Lariant come around $60k including >$2000 for 360 cameras that I love.
I skip the sunroof. ๐Ÿ˜‰
When I was shopping for truck last winter, one of WA dealers had new trucks $10,000 below MSRP.
Modesto CA would sell $6k below MSRP.

Yeah 3".

Got $10k off msrp. I felt I did pretty good.

Nice truck. Congrats.

I'd opt for an XLT too.

We have a 2017 F-250 here in the yard and the locking tailgate is a PITA.

Yes, very nice truck. We are looking at different options, but one is ordering a new 2018 F-350 DRW PSD 4x4 XLT 4-door later this year.

Keep us posted on how your new truck works out.
