Undoubtedly, since Ford is coming out with a electric truck GM will be obligated to do the same. LOL

We just get to skip the stupid commercials denouncing that feature as before when GM ragged on Ford for using Aluminum only to adopt and a step tailgate only to adopt.

GM had its first hybrid Silverado in 2004 and and another generation of hybrid in the Tahoe in 2007, so this does not surprise me. What does surprise me is that they did not stick with development and build up a user base - They seem to run in short fits before losing interest only to return later...
