Can anyone explain this contraption? I'm assuming it's the city water hook up...but a Schraeder Valve? For blowout winterizing perhaps?

and the circle in the center looks like something is missing?

I bought a new camper in 1977 that had a "bicycle" pump inside. If you filled the tank with a connection to city water the tank was automatically pressurized and only a little pumping was needed when the tank got low.

The OP lists a 1985 Coleman Sun Valley in his profile. Maybe that's it?
It looks like it's something from the 1950's.

I had a camper once that used air pressure to move the water. You filled the tank with water and a onboard compressor put air pressure in the tank to move the water around, when pressure got low, the compressor came on and pressurized the tank.
My feet are fine as long as they are traveling.

Looks like a combo city water inlet and air connection with built in pressure gauge
Is it time for your medication or mine?
