Articfox Truck Camper with multiple slides.

I see a few AF truck campers with 2 slides used for sale, side note I know they made 1 with 3 slides, but just asking about 2 slides. but Northwood has zero info on them.
anyone know what the deal is? seems they make a few then stop. then make a few more.

When I picked up my 1140 Thunder RV had the one and only 1163 on their lot. We looked at it briefly thinking the layout was pretty nice and really liked the side entry. No regrets going with the 1140 as it provides some usable counter space.

Yes, only ONE of those was made, the AF 1163.

The one with two slides is the 996

It's the 996. It sort of came back to life last year in one production run, and maybe has been built again. Same thing happened with the 865 and it was off Northwood's website for quite some time even when it did get built again.

THe 996 is the same floor plan as the 990, but the kitchen is the slideout. You get more floor space and more counter space, place a cubby hole for a wastebasket.

I can’t say I’ve heard of them having issues. But, I do know that Host had at least 3 double slide designs just for the Ranier 9 1/2 by 2005 when mine was made. Other companies, changed their designs as well. Just something to consider.

I wanted to see one that had 2 slides (new back than) but recall someone saying the way the sink drain worked in the slide-out was a concern to them.
