Woo Woo Someone's Getting A BEEG Meanwell

120+ constant amps charge rate. Actually going into a big box as a charger. Outside the wheeled charger box: gauges, adjustable voltage, monster fan, and 6-hour windup timer.

I know about the wattage versus amperage formula but in real life, the Meanwell put out more amperage than advertised.

A nice winter project.

Mex and brulaz thanks for the links.

2oldman, I'm building a constant current constant voltage power supply for my electronics lab. The Meanwell will be the bulk supply driving the front end.

And why do we need a 48v power supply?

O computer illiterate me...

Anyway the link a few lines above has all the dope for the 48. Different voltages same appearance. The 48-2000 demands 240vac service.

This'll dewya

Lots of handy features and widely adjustable voltage. 42-amperes at 48 volts actually means closer to 46 continuous. TRC is in my opinion hard to beat for service.

The RSP model is tougher than other Meanwell models. Stands up to high current demands.

And be careful about paralleling. Without a paralleling circuit it's high current rectifier time.

That one looks good, in stock with several known suppliers.

Many thanks!

I'm still shopping for a 48v/40a supply, any suggestions? Likely 240v input

48v/20a would work too, if the price is right enough to get two
