Victron electronics, change your PIN!

So I recently installed a Victron SmartShunt on my lithium batteries. I’m at a RV park now and I went to log into my Shunt and I noticed several other Victron products on the list that aren’t mine. I tapped on one and it allowed me to log into it. The owner of it never changed the default factory PIN. I figured out which trailer it is and he’s not there right now. So when he gets back I’m going to contact him and let him know. If you don’t change your PIN anybody can log into your Victron equipment and change all your settings and even change your PIN and lock you out of it. I actually almost skipped that step when I was setting mine up but went back and set a new PIN. I wasn’t even thinking about people being able to get into it.

Finally decided to give a try. Yup default user name an password

I doubled the stock of IP addresses so it took 20 minutes to sell out.

Than I had a chat with the manager and he changed that admin password.
