If you have an Interstate Battery outlet near you, call and ask if they have deep cycles. I've gotten rebuilts for half the price of new batteries. They get new plates and fluids when they go thru the rebuild process, and haven't failed me yet.

I was at Sams Club and saw some Duracell Marine AGM Grp.31 batts. 105 Ah, I believe. Any word, good, bad or otherwise on these?

I've only just delved into the lithium thing, so you're probably right. You know more about this stuff than I. Everything I've read so far claims 90-100%, who knows. People and manufacturers have to justify their products and purchases, I suppose.

Still a lot more money. It's all about choices. I have not found a price difference to be worthwhile. However, many have. It just depends upon how you camp, how often you are off the grid and how much pain you can bear!
What I post is my 2 cents and nothing more. Please don't read anything into my post that's not there. If you disagree, that's OK.
Can't we all just get along?

Now I'm looking at Lion batteries. Good gawd, does it ever end?lol

Doesn't make sense to pay 4 or $500 for a couple AGMs only to have 50% usable capacity when a single lititium will provide 100% for a few hundred more. Decisions, decisions

I bought 2 AGM's from Battery plus Bulbs. I don't really like the place, but they had a go battery with a very fair price. Online discount and veteran discount both. 20% off. KEN

I have the same 2 batteries for sale. I replaced them with lithium.
