Roof ripples

Looking to buy a used 2015 Keystone.

Is this normal or should I be concerned or run?

They ripples run about a foot to 18” long. They run from the seam at the front cap towards the rear of trailer.

Not sure of roof material.

I'm no expert, but I think you have 2 options. Either have an expert look at it, you should have it thoroughly inspected anyway before buying - this is a voice of experience. Or, find out how much a new roof costs and offer him his asking price less the cost of a new roof.

LOL......Keystone, Forest River, Thor, Winnebago / Grand Design, Just fill in the name you wish as you can find those bad reviews for anything out there.

It likely means there is moisture underneath. Moisture means mold.

If I am correct, the only way to fix it is rip the roof off replace any moldy wood and start over !

No it is not normal

If you are talking about a couple of small ones, like an inch in diameter they are an easy fix.

If you are talking about them all over the roof , I wouldn't touch it.

I have had two trailers and when I sold each of them at seven years old, except for black mildew spots here and there, the roofs were perfect
