I have had Afib since 2001... mine is rapid..

I had an ablation in “09” with limited success.. afib came and went.... had a bad bout in 2012 to the point that it tired my heart and it stopped ( my heart ) ...

I am the proud owner of a pacemaker since November, 2012 ..

I take Flecainide twice a day still to keep me in sinus rhythm...

I know people that had 2-3 and 4 ablations to get the issue resolved..

I had Afib Ablation done back in 2008. Post op has been perfect. No more Afib and medication free at 50. I know some that have had to go back for a second ablation later and have heard of some even needing a third procedure. Good luck!!
