Tetons/Yellowstone...hopefully again this summer for 10th+ time. I almost wish I’d not gone to Yosemite 2 summers ago (4th and final time) as smoke, dead trees, crowds, and no Yosemite Falls is not how I’d like to remember it. Lake Tahoe made up for my final time to CA...let it slide into the ocean with some of its politicians.

Anywhere I have never been is spectacular to me. I am retired military so still have most of the USA to see. I have seen enough of other Countries already in my lifetime.

Yosemite's Glacier Point area is spectacular. And Arches NP (when it's not hot) runs about neck-and-neck with Glacier Point in my mind. I've been to Yosemite twice and Arches twice.

But, you know where I like to keep going back to, and have been to at least a dozen times? Lake Superior's southern and western shores. The little waterfalls, the smell of the pines, and the shoreline beckon to me. I'm planning to head back there this summer.
