Tire Time

Well, it's been 6 years, and my BFG's have cracks in the sidewalls.
Today, I bought a complete set of 255/70R 22.5 Toyos for $2300, OTD, tax, mounting, and balancing.
I know nothing about Toyos, so I hope this was a good deal.
Has anyone here had experience with Toyo tires, and how did you like them? So far, they really seem to ride smooth.

First of all, they're not Mich's.
The price of the tires is from a local mom & pop tire store, here in Alabama, where I buy all my tires.

Have had Toyo's on 3 cars (2 with 4WD and one sports car) and MH (DP 6 tires). Have all performed very well.
Agree with others that price wasn't bad and I think you'll really like the tires.

Price was for 6 tires.
Actual price of the tire was $319 each, but had to add tax, mount & balance, and a disposal fee for my old tires.

Nothing wrong with Toyo. I've had them on two coaches. I think you did good.

I purchased Toyo's I think two years ago and they have been great. The dealer used e-balance fluid so they are always balanced at any speed. The coach rides like you are on air. On a good road there is no vibration. When my truck needs tires I am going to use Toyo's .

You did well...pricewise and tirewise and no let anyone tell you differnt. I had larger sized Toyo's on mine for the first 6 years.....they were std equip on CC's back when I got mine

Just put 6 Toyo's on our 32V Itasca Sunrise (2002) from Les Schwab for about the same price as the OP. I've used Toyo's in the past but not on MH. Drove round trip from Seattle to LA, no problems, they ride fine for me.

I have heard lots of good stuff about Toyo tires. The price you paid sounds a little high but not that far out of line.
Enjoy the new tires and the feeling of safety they bring.

"I know nothing about Toyos". $2300 OTD. Really??!! Sorry to be so blunt, but wouldn't it have been better to do the research before pulling the trigger?
