Leaking Cap on 1994 Dodge Coachmen Saratoga

Hello Everyone,

I have a 1994 Dodge body Coachmen Saratoga with a high top cap. When it rains it leaks water onto the dashboard. Has anyone dealt with repairing this type of leak themselves? Should I lift the cap slightly and put silicon or something between the cap and the body? What kind of rv silicone sealant should be used for this job.

DON'T USE SILICON!
Silicon doesn't stick where you want it to, but where you don't want it it sticks, and you will NEVER get it off.
Find a mobile RV service and ask them how to seal the leak.
