Ford 6.8 serpentine belt

Broke down in class A
Need 110" serpentine belt part number. Mechanic can only find 95".

Jeepers92....If you had your RV life to live over again at what time/mileage intervals would you replace your belts and hoses?

I do mine about every 4 to 5 years and have been told that's excessive.

It was the ford as I stated. It was traveling friends. Called Good Sams and first call ended up worthless. Called on Monday and finally got a service call out to repair it. Costs over $600. I think the guy took a nap under the motorhome. I think I could have changed it in 15 min max if I could have gotten the belt. Thanks for the one answer I recieved for my question. I should have stated my problem in a clearer manner.

The ...8110... is right, 8 ribs and 110 inch in lenght. If i remember well, the F53 is like the F550 or F650.

Yes. No secret here. Most Ford Dealers will have it in stock. Very common item. Make sure you know the year.

Call Dodge Tech support - or any Dodge Service department with your VIN. They should be able to get the correct part number for you. Here are two numbers I found no idea if they are 24/7 or workdays only.

For future, buy 2! keep a spare. We have a fresh spare with us at all times. Cheap insurance - Freightliner recommends that for their chassis.

Gates will have it. Get a Gates Green Stripe, they are the best and expensive.
