heading to Myrtle Beach the day after Christmas this year, and staying thru January 3rd. Staying at the highly rated new Carolina Pines rv park. Looks like a lot of things to do there...
BUT looking for some must see outdoor things to do and see in the Myrtle Beach area... trying to stay covid safe, so really hoping for outdoor things

Have a great time, but the temps mentioned above are suspect.
Daytimes will be anywhere from 35-70, and nights will be into the 30s most nights.
We have ben camping in MB for 40 years. Carolina Pines is a wonderful CG but you will lose some of the benefit of the ocean warmth being that far inland. One year we had to wait until our awning thawed to leave on the last day. Just be prepared for anything.

You can also order chili and corn dogs; if you left something at home, they have a small store to pick up that item; there also is a service laundry. Get grocery stores to stock up your pantry not too far from the resort. Ocean Pines has a good start towards a Disney World type experience. Good sized lots with cable and bricked up fire pit.

-Carolina Pines is a wonderful fairly new resort. You are right, there are many thinks to do. However, because the resort is fairly new, the many trees which have been planted are not mature trees; therefore, the strong winds which sweep across he park are not easily broken by a grove of mature trees. Because you will be so close to the ocean and its tributaries, you will be warm (about 50F. To 60F. During the day and about 40F. To 50F. During the evenings. Don't forget to make an appointment to rent you a golf cart while there; so easy to zip around to various activities, heated swimming pool, the small bowling alley, playing corn bag in the hole, stop at the bar for your favorite cocktail, toast marsh mellows over a roaring fire, go play some putt-putt

Will have the winter coats. I am from Ohio so I am more than used to the cold temps. South Carolina will be warmer than what I am used to for January!

Take your winter coat. The nights will be colder than you think.
