Parks around Lincoln CA.

There is not a great choice so close to sacramento.

Not sure if we will be towing as that would add a few extra days to our trip. 300 miles pulling is my max vs driving. Three days minimum vs two days.

Looks like there is Camp Far West in Wheatland and Gold Country in Auburn. 50 amp would be a necessity there in September. So that leaves out the Indian Casino...

Anyone with experiences at anything there? Will be visiting a group of friends in Lincoln so close is a must...

Thank you for any input...

I grew up and still live very much in the Sacramento area. There is a no reason for anyone to want to visit Sacramento in the summer time. We want to GET AWAY from Sacramento until maybe October... You are much better off making for the gold country / foothills areas and if you really need to do something in Sacramento, just drive in for the day and then LEAVE lol.

Not likely any 50 amp but there is a lot of shade so you can make it on 30 amp. Close off any areas you are not in. Cover windows etc.

There are few decent parks in the area. The one posted is not as pretty as the picture but the folks are nice and the spots are decent enough.

If Kalifornia was not so strict one could probably make a fortune building a nice resort near Sacramento.

Always has amazed me an area as large as Sac and so few decent parks. There may be one in "downtown" that sits on the river and then one to the south off of I think hwy99, a campground on a "lake"...

Thanks
