Campgrounds around Seattle

Hi all.
Now with baseball back on, I want to take the family to Seattle area as we have done before to catch a game . Looking around Aug 7-14 . We have stayed at the KOA outside of Seattle and research looks like it is closed. We are a family of 4 traveling with a 40 foot toyhauler.
Any recomendations on a nice campground with proximity to the city?
Thanks

True, not many road trips with the boys in the near future (but wait till the grandkids arrive).

Best yet, it's almost "empty nest" time -- wonderful adventures await!

Thanks for updating this thread.

Forgot to update!
Was a great stay. 5 nights there, one night on the way in Ritsville and one night in Moyie BC on the return. The park is tight but knew that booking. Did take a site on the end so at least no trailer right beside us on the one side. Met lots of nice folks although we were out and about everyday.
Yanks and Mariners split the 2 games we took in. Lots of nice places to eat and get a good beer.
Prices in Canada have rose but I was shocked seeing the rise in Washington and Idaho. Even for basics at the safeway and Walmart.
Was a great trip as we have been landlocked so to speak the past few years. With two boys 16 1nd 19, mom and me, probably not many road trips remaining.... sad.
Enjoyed Bothell and will be returning .
Thanks for all suggestions again.

I booked us into Pleasant RV Park for 5 nights and got tickets to Yankees and Mariners. Will take in the city sites and experience some of the attractions we missed last time.

Several years ago we stayed at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe. We've been told it can be problematic concerning homeless, but we never had an issue - we spent a couple of weeks there, and it seemed to be used as a meeting spot for RVers taking cruises from Seattle.

I live there. Both of those parks are great and are the best choices (IMO) in the area. Vasa can be hard to get a spot in because it's popular and and only has a few spaces. Lk. pleasant is also very nice and is within walking distance to restaurants and there is a Safeway with easy to maneuver gas/diesel pumps across the street.

SIL works in Seattle - Be smart and aware, lots of homeless. Go early and park in large structure across from the park, best to not park blocks away, ditto for other downtown areas. Do not leave anything visible in the car even a sweater, do not park and put anything in the trunk - they are watching. Areas near tourist areas can be better.

Check out Vasa Park on Lake Sammamish in Bellevue. It's a private park and people have to pay to use, but they have RV parking. Great location.

That's "Bothell" - a Brothel is something entirely different ๐Ÿ™‚

I live in the area so have never stayed there, but I've visited friends staying there and it seems nice.
