We have done many pueblos and truly enjoy the Native American culture. We have a collection of Indian pots and the one from there is a treasure - it was a prize winning piece that we loved. Not quite 4 figures for it but close and worth it.

Loved being up there. Please show the usual respect and stay out of the grave yard area and show respect in the beautiful church.

When we were there you had an option to walk / hike back down which we did. Wonderful.

We recommend visiting Acoma as well as El Malpais Nat'l Monument, El Morro Nat'l Mon. and the Wolf Sanctuary in that part of NM. Enjoy your travels!

There are multi old ruins in New Mexico and everyone has something to offer including Acoma Sky City. RV sites are cheap for a night or two to explore the area a bit. Food normally good and not too expensive, they would rather you spend $$ gambling. As a first timer they normally give you $10 gambling credits to "join their players club" I pick a slot, run the $10 once through and see how much I am ahead, can't loose I play on their dollar. Most casinos offer the $$ and RV sites are below RV parks in the area.

Absolutely the tour is wonderful not to be missed, we camped at their casino - a bit of a parking lot but is was fine

check into the combo package rv site for me was $9 per night in 2013 on the package

We found it a nice low cost one night stop over. And it probably stayed low cost for us because we stayed out of the casino. ๐Ÿ˜‰
