Maine to Hershey

Heading from Old Orchard Beach early Monday morning. Usually take I90 to I87 to I84 to I81. Comes with $20 toll.

Thinking this time I90 to I84 to I87 to I287 to I78. Might save 30 minutes.

That's the route we generally take when headed down that way. You will pay a toll on the Tappan Zee bridge on the way back only. I78 can get a bit hairy with semis at times but we've never had any issues.

Also you can take US209 down the Delaware Water gap (I think it's exit 2 in PA off I-84) to I-80 to I-81 to I-78. That whole NY metro area is too busy for me. Last time on I-287 was a lumpy ride.
