Not sure if everyone here has done it, but Dutch Oven peach cobbler rocks. Easy to make, foil in the dutch oven, dump in a big can or two of peaches and the juice, dump in two white cake mixes, plop a few good size squares of butter on top (do not stir) and set the dutch oven over the heat. Pile the hot coals on top of it. Play a game of horseshoes and check it, if its bubbling and the top is browned then drop some in a bowl with ice cream and enjoy.

I have done it, but I prefer the yellow cake mix.
You can also mix apple pie filling with peaches and use Spice cake mix, awesome. [emoticon]

Glad you brought up this easy peasy recipe. Double ditto on the yellow cake mix. Put in a pinch of cinnamon too.

We put butter on the bottom as well. If we have fresh blackberries or blueberries those go in too. You can dress this puppy nine ways to Sunday and get something tasty every time: except for olives or garlic.[emoticon]
