Need help with jeep jk front bumper

I know this has been ask may times, yes I have looked thru all the post.
We bought a 2017 Jeep JK it has a 2 inch lift kit and 34 tires. It still has the factory bumper We want to tow it behind out motorhome, already have the Blue ox (from towing a HHR).
So what is the best kind of front bumper for towing?

The tabs came with the bumper. I have a demo aluminator tow bar and I picked up different ends.

I’m using a rugged ridge bumper for three years now. Bumper and tow bar tabs bolt right to frame bumper horns.

There are three bumpers that are made that are designed for towing; LoD Off Road and Rock Hard 4x4 are the two big players. Both back up their bumpers clearly stating that towing is approved. Every other bumper that I’ve researched will not state this, so its use at your own risk.

Rock Hard does make a Tow Bar Bracket for us with Blue Ox, Ready Brute and Demco tow brackets. This works good if your bumper uses pass through bolts. In this case just need to make sure the bolts you use are up for the task. My gut says a Grade 8 bolt should do the trick, but perhaps a Grade 5 would be fine.

I second just getting a Blue OX or Roadmaster baseplate, unless you absolutely want a new bumper. Unless you already have a braking system, take a look at Ready Brake very easy to install on your Jeep, very easy to hookup/unhook.

I put a LOD bumper on my JL. It bolts to the frame not just the bumper brackets.

Why not get a Blue ox since you already have that equipment?
