Trap Pond State Park, Delaware

We will be booking 3 nights in early OCT, plan on bringing our Kayaks & Hybrid bikes. Any recommendations on W/E sites to book or stay away from? I noticed they have a 4.6-mile Trail that circles the lake, anyone bike the trail? Any other recommendations?

We stayed with our backs to lake, walked the trail around lake. there is a nice park vistors area(center) if opened. There's a Cypress tree center on the trail and parking area again if opened. We found this to be a nice park. Electric and Water has dump area..
