I am thinking about upgrading to 15 inch tires on my 2017 Clipper FQ17. Who has changed their 13 inch clipper tires to 15 inch tires without flipping the springs? Any issues?

OK, I installed the ST205 75 15 tires on my Clipper. I have towed it over 100 miles with no issues, That included 20 miles of gravel road with lots of pot holes. I checked the inter fender walls and no contact was made. I did have to raise my hitch up one notch on my truck as my clipper is now 1.2 inches taller. The tires have a load of 2,150 pounds each which is well above the 1,710 pounds on the little 13 inch tires!

The reason I want to go to 15" inch tires is because I already have 15" inch wheels. I also drive in and out on 10 miles of gravel road every time I go anywhere. The 15's will do a lot better on the rough gravel road.

Yes, I did the math and the ST205 75 15 tires are 2.5 inches taller than the 13 inch tires.
The height will only increase half of that, 1.25 inches into the wheel well. I just wanted to know what others have to say that have already made the change to 15 inch wheels and tires on the clipper? I think it will work good if you can dodge all the pot holes.

I would be concerned with clearance in the wheel well. Also, do your hubs have four lugs, or five?
