1997 Fleetwood Advantage Diesel

I’m looking at a 1997 Advantage with a Cummins 8.3L Diesel. The owner does not know the horsepower rating or if the roof is rubber or a one piece solid. I’m looking for feedback on these two questions.

I have had a 97 and a 98 with the 8.3. The 97 is 325hp and the 98 is 300hp. I tow a pretty big trailer and can really tell the difference.

The Commons 8.3 will likely have a sticker visible with the HP rating.

Failing there, call the manufacturer and give them the VIN# and they should be able to tell you.
