I have a 97 Rexhall Airbus and it has the Dometic Elite RM7732 Fridge. Doors are constantly opening when I have anything loaded in the door and take a right turn. My wife noticed that there is a cutout in the top part of the frame and we are thinking there was a latch. I searched online, and found differing items labeled for this. Hobson RV has a latch, but I can't see how it would work with the cutout. I don't want to spend $130 plus shipping to find it isn't right. Does anyone have this fridge in their RV that can send me a pic of the latch installed? There was nothing in the owners manual as far as a picture of the area. Thanks for any help. jeff ... Hi all,  We're in a 2003 Southwind 32' Class A. We have spent most of decade on the road as full timers ( the last couple of years sharing that with a diesel trawler doing the great loop ) so we're not noobs, but for a variety of reasons we've been stationary in Virginia for the last year or so.  While we're in southern VA and it's not as cold as some parts of the states, winter temperatures below freezing are enough of an issue that we winterized the RV for the first time late last year.  The one previous time it was winterized was when we bought it about eight years ago and that was done with the pink non-toxic antifreeze. It took us FOREVER and several tanks ( 100 gallons ) of water run through everything to get the taste of that antifreeze out of the system. I have to use that on our boat when we winterize and I rather hate that stuff. I'm not even sure the well here at the house has enough capacity to run a few hundred gallons.  So this year I got a hookup to use my air compressor to blow the water out of the lines. I drained all the liquid from all tanks and the water heater, and as much water as I could get from the low point drains.  I then hooked  the air line up to the city water inlet.  With the compressor regulator set at about 30 PSI I proceeded to blow out all the lines until I got air out of all water outlets. Then pink antifreeze into all the traps and a gallon or so into the black and gray tanks.  Everything seemed fine and the RV sat in the yard until I went to get her ready for a short trip this spring.  I added water to the tank, flipped the pump on and purged the air from the water heater, low point drains and the outside rinse faucet. So far, so good.  Then, I went inside to start purging the lines to the sinks ( bathroom and kitchen ), toilet and shower.  The shower worked normally, but the other three...didn't. The kitchen sink and the toilet have basically zero water coming out of them ( the kitchen faucet gurgles a bit sometimes when the valve is open ) and the bathroom sink flows a bit, maybe 30% or something, but not always, just sometimes. It's the same for the hot and cold water in both faucets, despite having pressure in the water heater tank.  Ambient temps were in the 60's, so there's no water frozen somewhere. There's no break, because there's no water leaking and the pump isn't cycling unless I open one of the other, working, water outlets.  Just no water coming out of the faucets and the toilet. Could there be check valves somewhere that are stuck? Any idea where I'd look? Some of the lines are absolutely inaccessible under the floor and there's no way to replace or get to them.  I'm open to suggestions on where to look or how to diagnose this, because I got nuthin'.  Thanks! ... I'm new here, and curious. How many of us in Class C own Dodge B300 incomplete cab/chassis based RV's? I know two others- Steve aka Ripsaw, with a 1977 Brougham, and Leroy aka 1978_Dodge _Delta who owns a 440V8 powered sharp looking 1978 Delta RV. I would like to ask, and offer, help, idea swapping and comparing notes on our particular RV's which are based on the Dodge B300 van chassis. Yeah, I know. These are low tech, podgy old RV's that would be considered "entry level" for folks like me, but I have a deep and abiding respect for the quality of these old "monsters of the open road". And anyone wanting to pick brains, joke about, share notes or just brag about our old A- Dodge-io's are certainly welcome to PM or email me. Between all of us we can form a real good support group, and help each other with problems we know we'll encounter with an older vehicle. Sure. I'd love a new RV. Our Onan Diesel generator starts up just fine but then stops after a couple of minutes.  It will start back up easily but then dies again.  It does not matter if it it loaded or not. I'm not sure what to do.  Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Gridley ... View more

2009 Fleetwood 39’ Providence AC fan motor went out on the rear AC. Replaced the motor but it spins backward, drawing air upward and not blowing air through ducts.  Tried switching wires (per another post) replaced capacitor; condensers cleaned. At a loss. Any other suggestions? ... View more

Looking to tow a ford fiesta with auto transmission. Looks like this is doable but the battery has to be disconnected. Can you have a disconnect switch installed in the Fiesta instead of having to physically disconnect the negative cable? Aloha all: So our 2007 Roadtrek 170 (MJ 🙂) has a taillight (passenger side) that is out. Immediately thought bulb, so I changed that...still didn't work (later confirmed the original bulb and replacement are good), so I went to the fuse box...fuses are good too, which leads me to believe the problem with the wiring; is that a logical conclusion? I know there are many locations where wiring will have been run/spliced together; does anyone have a suggestion of where I should look specifically to isolate the problem for the passenger side taillight? Hello All, I came across an old post with oldtrucker63 and Lo Lo and I hope they or someone else that can help is still around. Here's the situation, yesterday I bought a 1976 Dodge Sportsman motorhome at auction that has very low miles (6k), upon getting it and trying to drive it home, i'd get up to about 35 mph and it would start puttering. It was described with old gas so I got some new gas and sea foam to put it in it after leaving it on the side of the road an hour from my house. It wouldn't go more than a mile or two without puttering (and popping occasionally) so I pulled it into an outdoor store and asked the manager if I could leave it there overnight. I know nothing about RV's/Motorhomes but always dreamed of owning an older classic camper but now i'm not so sure I made the right decision. I'm on the edge of thinking this thing was a good deal with low miles and a good engine and possibly being worth putting some time and $ into to get it going nicely and clean it up vs. wondering if I made the wrong decision and just bought a problem. I would love to get anybody's advice on the few things I should do to try to get it home. i.e. putting fuel stabalizer etc. in it which I have done.
