I wouldn't recommend he hook anything to that beast of an F-250 until he's comfortable driving it and parking it.

I Have to be the optimist here guys, looking for the good. When it comes to backing/parking a trailer, longer is easier. I learned on a 5'x6' bike trailer, with a short tongue.
Yup comfortable, feeling sure of yourself is key! I've always felt, if someone else can do it, I can do it (disclaimer, not everything). Okay...admit, I may think I can do many things better, with just a little practice.![biggrin [emoticon]](https://forums.motorhome.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/biggrin.gif)

LMAOO!
Why all the hate on the Moose antlers?
From a practical standpoint they’re great to have a normal sized mirror when just out brodozin the mall parking lot even though they do give up a smidge of visibility compared to the Frod/GM in towing mirrors.
But if ya can’t find the @ss end of your trailer with a moose antler mirror then the problem is the nut behind the wheel, not the mirror…lol.
One thing I will say is they’re way tougher than them Frod tow mirrors.
Few years ago haulin the TC thru Jellostone NP, watchin the deer and antelope roam. Sippin a cool one. Wifey by my side. Kids plugged into video games watching the screen on the headrests, had a rvnet member (one of them “How do I dump the black tank?” kinda guys in a big ole Frod Cruze Amurica class c play chicken with his mirror against mine.
He was fresh out of his Kia mommy missle and now piloting the Ark. I got over until half my tire was touching gravel but he won the game of chiken! Never moved that ark back over the dubble yeller line…
Well the joke was on him.
That Moses antler slapped the taste right outta that Frod mirror’s mouth. All the way back to last Tuesday! His mirror folded like a cheap suit. Busted out the drivers side window on the Ark and was just hangin there by its umbilical cord….
The moose antler sustained minor injuries and the glass cracked. Had to buy a new lens at the next Napa we passed in Wyoming a couple days later. Mfer cost me $50 and wasn’t willing to pay up either!
But that’s ok. Between his security deposit getting flushed like a big ole dooker and the sound of his wife and mother in law screaming at him, in the end I kinda felt bad for the guy…
If he hadn’t stiffed me out of $50.
Moose antler 1, Frod 0 in that game….
True story btw.

Bonus points if the bikes not on it and you can’t see the handy bars over the tailgate!
