Hey D Steve...all this new big truck talk, have we even seen a pic of it? Take a little pride in that nice new truck! Post a pic if you have one. ![smile [emoticon]](https://forums.motorhome.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
My F250 has the OEM step bars, that make in/out very easy, even for my short partner 5'3".

And @DallasSteve, if you were still white knuckling driving a straight truck that was like 20’ shorter than your new (or soon to be) combo, you’re in for an unpleasant surprise unfortunately.
You already have buyers remorse and a whiskey dent in the short half of the equation.
Consider carefully before signing on the dotted line for a big trailer.
What ya should do is get the aforementioned stinger I told you about. Go to a construction rental place and rent the longest tag trailer they have. It will still be shorter than the TT you’re talking aboot and you’ll be able to see “through” it. (It’s a flatbed).
Take that thing and drive it ALL day. City, country, rush hour in Dallas and a couple hours in a very deserted parking lot seeing how well you can back up.
It might change your mind before making the 3rd big RV related financial mistake.

(No luck. See, that's why I didn't share a photo. Google needs to dumb down Google Photos. I'll try again later.)

Take a pic with your phone.
Google “rvnet photo posting”
Follow link in first post.
Grab pic and attach
Copy the link
Paste the link in your post here.
Edit sorry. Jerry beat me to it…
But I’d be more honed in on towing training than posting pics. Also may need a pintle hitch for a rental tag trailer. But the rental outfit would probably loan you one.

I drove a Ford F-350 long bed for 20 years. It just takes some getting used to. I used it for everything. Get in the habit of parking a little further out. Stay out of squeezy spots. Measure your height and remember it.

Just like cats have whiskers to help them know how much room they need to get through a space, you'll develop a feel for where you can fit.
I drive a 3500 dually and I can fit into just about any parking structure and most parking spaces. My tail will hang out the end, but I'll fit between the lines every time.
Just get out and drive it (and park it) and get some experience. It shouldn't be any big deal compared to the Class A you used to drive. Plus you've got a duty to uphold the tradition of "Everything's Bigger in TX".
