Am looking at replacing my steer tires before this season. 2018 Michelins currently in place.
Shop is offering 225/70R/19.5 installed prices of $370 each for Falken or $490 for Goodyears,,, any thoughts? other brands to consider.

The brands mentioned are fine. Probably Falken too since it's a subsidiary of Sumitomo. According to Wikipedia they're made in Buffalo, NY.

I have Sailuns. Run great, cost less. Come replacement time, I will get them again.

I have Bridgestone R250. I went up 1 grade to H spec. I also like Sumitomo's...I have them on the rear axle on one side( had a blow out)so will probably change the other side this year.
I have Sumitomo's on my E350 Mercedes and they are great and a reasonable price too.
