Many folks tow over their max authorized gross weight tow and payload ratings so is possible Ram is protecting themselves by reducing the max tow figures as a safety fudge measure and protection from lawsuits. Maybe should do this for other trucks. Just saying.

Ram is good, hemi is good, all is good. Great combination.

In the world of oil manufacturers, the competition goes out and purchases oil from their competitors and run those oils through their tests. If a particular test requirement fails, they have been known to call out the competition that they didn't pass a particular test.

Can't help but wonder if Ram got called out?

Except for that one pesky thing….they haven’t lowered the tow ratings, based on at least 3 different documents….considering I’ve been sitting in a hospital caring for my wife for the last 2 weeks, I have time to look up stupid stuff like that to kill time….

BUT TFL guys only make money if people are watching them and waiting for the next episode. So to consider a couple goofballs who have somehow made a living driving from Denver to Silverthorne round trip in every truck made for the last however many years as factual is a bit remiss.
Gotta be a salesman to sell stuff and they sell “information” and yoo toob clicks.

Hope your wife is OK...

In a times like this I would back away from that Koolaid. Ram made a change and didn't tell it's customers. Hopefully TFL reports back from Ram's management.

Well I thought your days of ONLY stirring the pot, with nothing of substance to add to it had waned.
However this thread is proof that the old Fish is back! Lol
Your simple posting of only stupid videos that someone else made and zero actual verification of what you’re claiming is proof of that.

However I wish you were right, I wish you were so right that people quit buying all the Rams they make every year, even with a distant 3rd place transmission, and I wish everyone else would start selling theirs cheap because the tow rating was re- nigged. Because I’d love to upgrade to something newer and would like one of each flavor. Srw and dually.
And the dually I’d be able to get a big honking TC like the one that made the dipshhit in Mexico famous and haul it wherever I want WITHOUT breaking the frame!

So actually I change my position. Ram is junk sell yours cheap….to me!

Waiting for a response from Ram's management via TFL. Sounds like the ball is in their court.

Ron,
If one does a ball or pintle hitch, 20k is doable depending upon the HW and actual wieght available on the RA. May need a WD system too.
A 5W/gooseneck with 20-25% HW isn't going to happen. A 10-13% HW on a 2500 is doable.

I also agree with all, hope Grits spouse recovers and gets well sooner than later.
