I haven’t posted here in awhile. First of All my Wife of 8 Years passed away.
After that my Class C motor home caught on fire while I was driving it, I managed to get out, but my dog Daisy perished in the fire. I almost lost my life in the fire.
I was in west Tennessee at the time so they lifeflighted me to the Vanderbilt burn center in Nashville. I underwent around 10 surgeries. My right arm is all scarred up as is my chest. I also have a scar below the thumb on my left hand. Altogether I was in the hospital for 5 months.
I now have a new fiancee and we are planning on getting another motor home and start traveling. We will full-time in the motor home. I am not done yet.
God Bless!

Some folks think they have it hard.. Hugs to you.
I"ve been burned. but not that bad (took ground transport to burn center. mostly 2nd Degree) and lost my wife ofr 34.5 years (9 well 10 years come last day of March) and my motor home did not catch fire.. A semi clipped it just enough to total it (When I cleaned it out I found out that was a good thing so I'm not that upset about it.. Major issues I'd not noticed. and a couple books I need to replace due to one of em.. about 20 bucks.. would have been much worse by now had it not gotten totaled).
Stay safe.. Follow the burn doc's instructions (Most folks do not know I was burned even if it involved most of my face.. I followed instructions) .
Home was where I park it. but alas the.

That which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. Your resilience proves that. So sorry for all of your losses. Keep the faith. It's what keeps us going.
