3.1 Gears, F350D. My fuel economy is directly related to speed. At 65 on flat land, 11.5. At 70 climbing the hills in TN, it gets as low at 9.5. Trailer is at GVWR of 12.6k.
.
Remember, head winds or component of a head wind adds directly to your speed. 65 with a 20kt headwind is the equivalent of driving at 85 mph.

I had a head/crosswind going from DFW to Lubbock a few weeks ago and averaged 7.

Coming back at night with a little tailwind, 11.

Thought the same. Amazing how things become different by simply adding a "F".

2020 Ford 6.7 SRW towing Grand Design Reflection 29rs fiver. Driving 70-75 I get a 10.5-11.5 mpg.
My old '16 6.7 F250 got about 1 mpg less. 10 speed and other things make the 2020 better. I have more power and better fuel economy. Only downfall is the '20 uses twice as much DEF as the '16

2020 Ford 350 6.7 PSD & 2017 F150 3.5 EB max tow
GD Reflection 29rs
