I've been hunting for a big collapsible bowl for salad for 4 people...nice sized salads but not dinner salads. Would really like collapsible...roughly 6+ quart size or larger. My non collapsible 9 x 3.5 really is not big enough. I've got nothing so far that is big enough.

REI has a number of collapsible bins including this one.

Instead of looking for collapsible bowls, look for food grade collapsible washing tubs like This

Was hoping for a lid and sadly most on amazon are too small. I think I looked there really well prior...maybe have to try camping world to see what they have?

Camping world is unlikely to have something that will work for you if you can't find it on Amazon. Camping world has a much more limited selection within each category.
As for finding a very large collapsible bowl WITH a lid, I think you're pushing the limits. Instead, I would again look at collapsible washing tubs and then look for an elastic cover that will fit that.
Otherwise, I suspect you're going to have to choose between collapsible or a cover.

I bought a couple of these in the original size, they have a lid and a cutting board is part of the collapsible bowl. Just a heads up, my shipping was very slow but it is a good quality product.
Drip EZ
I specifically did not want a drain in the bottom so I could use it to marinate meat without worrying about leaks.

Try doing a search on Amazon.com for silicon collapsible microwave popcorn bowls. They’re fairly large and collapse around 1.5”.
