He!! , my 2014 Ram has had about 12 recalls , averaged about 1.5 per year .

They don't bother me one bit! Bottom line they make things right.

I agree, wish there were a couple more for some of the emission issues . Having a great time trying to get mine to pass emissions . Once these these trucks throw a code ,and CEL that can take awhile to clear the " Not Ready's . So far in nearly 1000 miles still got two not ready's , started with four . Had to get an emissions wavier because it would not pass .

I would guess that the reason for the rapid response is because they don't want to find out that the transmission is going to do something more serious than shifting into neutral. Imagine if it dropped into reverse or park while rolling down the highway.

Putting 10-ply tires on half ton trucks since aught-four.

So far I've only had two recalls on my 2015 Silverado 3500.

Ford is about to ( or already did? ) announce a recall that would/could effect a bunch of Tow vehicles..

Re Program Integrated Trailer Relay Module

Loss of Trailer Brake Functionality could result in extended stopping distances, increasing the risk of a crash."

They don't bother me one bit! Bottom line they make things right.

If they paid more attention to 'making them right' in the design studios and on the assembly line, there would be far fewer recalls to "make things right" after the retail buyer takes possession of the vehicle. But, I guess if you've got time on your hands and enjoy hanging out at the dealership, recalls can be fun! [emoticon]

I never found them fun . Making an appointment ,getting it there ,leaving it ,coming back to get it . I agree it would be nice for them to get it right the first time , but I am afraid that's never going to happen . Just glad they fix them on recalls as been said . There are few issues that are pretty repetitive , and IMO should be on a recall.

No hanging out. I drop off they give me a car free as part of my warranty I drive off in something different so that's fun like the Chrysler 300.

My selling Ford dealer is 55 miles from me. I only had one recall on last new truck, which didn't seem like a big deal. I called the service manager, who knows me, asked if I can check this transmission line recall myself. He said "not the way it works, but I'd trust you to do this." He still filled out the paperwork, sent in, as though they completed the recall. Ford sent a letter to me, asking if I was satisfied with my recent recall service at this dealership. I sent card back, stating very satisfied.

With as high-tech as the vehicles are getting with all the electronic gadgets, high horse power and torque I'm surprised that there aren't more recalls than there is.
