How much does the rear of your truck squat once hitched and landing gear are up? Never owned a 5er before so just curious.

4-5" drop on a 2000 F350, no "squat". Sits fairly level.......But, it will depend on your trailer pin weight.

If the truck is level when the 5er is loaded you’ll be fine IMO.

Depends on truck suspension, and if your truck is rated to carry the amount of pin wt applied.
Simple answer is...a proper matched truck/FW will squat about 2-3 inches on average.
Do you have a truck and FW in mind, that you are considering?

Have a 21 GMC 3500 SRW and a 21 KZ 387FLF. I’m within my trucks weight limits but just curious what was typical. Having never towed a 5th before I didn’t know what to expect. I’m considering adding Timbrens just to keep it level.

^^That is a fair size/wt FW, and hitch pin wt likely 3K+ maybe 3.5K, so may be more squat than you want. In any case, I'd hook it up, loaded to use, check for squat. A little squat is fine, and normal. If 4 or more inches lower than prehook up measurement, then suspension help may be best option. The DRW guys may have a better option for you. ![smile [emoticon]](https://forums.motorhome.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)

Squat totally depends on pin weight and truck springs. Fellow came in here with a 38' Big Horn and a Ram 2500. Now he had squat. Headlights hunting the sky and the rear bumper was low.

Well are you sure you are within limits? Have you scaled your TV ready to go with all passengers? Have you weighed the combination?
