My sons trailer is an Eclipes Attitude 21AK 2008. We plugged into shore power like we have since it was new and we get nothing ! No shore power at all . Checked breakers. We never had a problem . Is there a transfer switch or something to check ?

Thank you
Cory

Are you sure the place you are plugging it is actually powered? By that, I mean have you plugged ANYTHING in there to confirm you even have power? Stuck the probes of a voltmeter in to check voltage? NOT checked the breaker box, again, that tells you nothing other than there SHOULD be power there. But it does not mean there actually is power.

12 volt I’m fine . But when I plug in shore Power nothing works . No lights , nothing . Yes tested the outlet in the garage and works fine. I feel that the trailer is not switching over to 110v??

Turn off all breakers wait a few seconds and turn all breakers back on.

Are you sure you are plugging into 30 amp 120 volt and not a 240 volt receptacle?

The only "switching over" is if you're running a generator, and switch to shore power. And the absorption fridge switching over if you've got it set that way. Other than that, 12V runs 12V stuff, and 120V runs 120V stuff.

Need to go to the power center and check directly to see if 120V is getting to the power center.

Is his plug bright shiny clean? Have you checked for a tripped GFCI? Turn ALL breakers fully off then fully on.

IF he has a gen and it automatically switches then he has a transfer switch.

Next observing all safety precautions check the AC voltage in the CB panel, then work upstream or downstream as needed to isolate the problem.

You could also plug in a light to every trailer plug to see if any work.

If you're saying the 12V lights go off when you plug in then the problem may be the battery charger. ie For some reason some disconnect 12V loads from the battery.
