Reason number I no longer care about the number, why I do not have an I for Incompatible phone (This is not a political statement.. For what I need a smart phone for getting the I phone to work is a wrestling match match. But an Android is pure joy and simplicity.. This however has to do with what I want it to do... I likely does not apply to you so choice is good)

The reason I avoid Apple products.. is older than the I-phone however.

Home is where I park it.

I support Apple in not creating a “back door” into their products which can be exploited by not so nice people. There has been several instances where police / FBI have gained access to locked down iPhones using third party software and services. Millions of people keep their very private information on iPhones, iPads, iCloud storage. I want it near impossible for anyone other than me to get that data.

Paragraph one is exactly the point. Apple believes in security but they believe more in profit. Principles are important, but dollars are more so. You would have to assume that Chinese have learned not to keep "very private" information on the phone. Since they have this back door I guess they can hack your phone, as well. I have assumed, from the day Al Gore invented the internet that anything I put on an electronic device connected to the internet is vulnerable. By the way, the FBI is still able to, eventually get to the information they need to keep us safe. They just have to spend a lot more of our resources than China does to get there.

Ive heard that Blackberry has the most secure OS,maybe thats why you dont see any ADverts for their phones !?

Btw
Acording to tech experts Huawei is very secure also
Not sure how could China gov spy on it users but whatever

Huawei 5G lies

Your first sentence isnt entirely correct,

CCP gov is run by scientists, economic and financial experts whose main goal is to make country grow greater,
(now where did I hear that line before) [emoticon]

Also their main objective is to aleviate poverty completely, their president was born poor farmer and refers to himself as
Servant of the people

I recomend watchin CGTN news for true facts about PRC
its amazing how skewed biased our News here are against China, wonder why is that

I talk with many expats livin in China and they all love it,go figure

Freedom of Religion in China
https://youtu.be/T7z9qbPYpWo

One thing CCP doesnt allow is anti goverment propaganda and honestly I dont see why anyone would rage against the machine when their lives and economy is great, have plenty o work, cheap plentiful housing and food.no homeles or dopehed junkies there either

Btw
HK Taiwan is part of China always was always will be

Destroying property kiling and burning people alive is not Democracy its Terrorism

One reason they dont make flip phones is its cheap, also the battery can be replaced when it dies.

All those new touch screen phones are great, but when battery dies you cant REplace it,you need to buy new very EXpensive phone

Waste o resources and keeping people spending money.

It's not a matter of not liking the post, it's that it has literally zero relevance to RV's. I don't go on a forum for new phones or business insider about tech practices to learn about RV's.

And who complains about porn that actually watches it? Comment makes no sense and reads more like " I have to make some weird analogy to make my point"

I've never seen a phone that can't have the battery replaced. Now most do not have interchangeable batteries where you can just take the battery off and put a new one on, but the batteries can be replaced. You just have to open up the phone to do it. I'm sure some people just trade to a newer phone rather than jumping through the hoops, but many simply replace the battery. I've done several replacements for myself as well as for friends/family. Even in our small town, there are several stores that will replace the batteries. We had one of our kid's Iphone batteries replaced for $60 because I was traveling a good bit at that time and wasn't able to get to it.

I believe it is simply a supply/demand situation with flip phones. There is very low demand and thus low supply. Even my 82 YO mother wanted a smart phone over a flip phone the last time we replaced her phone.

Apple already has a "back door", they just refuse to give it to law enforcement. Since the government literally can print money, they actually have no reason to steal yours. And I bet the government servers already are fully stocked with videos of cats playing the piano so they really don't need to steal the contents of your phone. The only practical use of the data contained in my phone or on my computer would be to require some terrorist prisoner at Guantanamo Bay to transcribe it into Arabic as a form of torture. I, like most people, lead a pretty boring life. At no time was I ever issued a license to kill and assigned a double naught spy number.
