^ Common sense post.
Methinks there's a whole lotta people that haven't left the casa since March and don't realize that it's not an apocalypse "out there."

Whose going to know if you are self-quarantining? Who's going to know how long you've been in the state? Are drones going to follow every out-of-state license plate? So you enter MT and go to an RV park. Are you supposed to check in and say you're under quarantine? This whole subject sounds ridiculous, kind of like using the honor system to enforce speed limits.

To quote you back, "This sounds ridiculous."

States, counties and cities have their own respective Covid-19 regulations.

Bay Area in CA can give you a citation, with fine of $1,000 if I recall correctly, if a LEO sees and apprehend you.

Drones were used in China. You must be watching too much TV with the quarantine, lol.

They know you enter the state because Google, Apple, Facebook, Twitter, etc are all pooling tracking data and sharing it, or preparing to share it at the federal and state level.

So in a sense, yes, they have a drone following everyone.

What if you turn off your phone,,
or leave it inside the house or RV and then go out ?

I think wearing protective face mask would be plenty protection to prevent spreading virus IF someone had it.

in China it was mandatory for everyone to wear it,kids adults everyone and they stoped it in 3 months

I think the constitution says unless you are a felon you are free to travel state to state. States can request but not restrict. But there may not be anything open when you get there.

You can download a copy of the Constitution of the United States from many places.. a true copy. both as an APP or as a PDF Even before the INTERNET there were places you could download a copy and I did and printed it out and kept a copy or two in my locker at work as well as on ye old disc drive.

IN COMMODORE 64 GEOS FORMAT no less. (That gives you an idea of when).

I have not seen that. in fact I've seen many laws and rules where states LIMIT entry into their states.. For example if you travel from AZ to CA there is a check station and if you are carrying counter-band.. Turn around and go back.. People have crossed from MI to Ohio in violation of a quarantine and been arrested and their property which is what was quarantined destroyed.

That last was for medical reasons by the way (Emerald Plant Borer quarantine against transporting bark on firewood 500 Pounds of it).

So I do not think there is any constitutional violation and highly recommend you download and read both the Constiution and the Declaration of Independence....

I've been in many political discussions (elsewhere) where I copy and paste the applicable article or section and occasionally even the preamble.. Interesting reading.

Home is where I park it.

I agree - we just arrived back home in Michigan after a winter in FL. I had NO food - what the heck was I supposed to do - gnaw on twigs for 2 weeks? I put on my mask and dropped $300 on groceries to last a couple of weeks.

For those headed south into Florida on I-95, they are still stopping every passenger vehicle/RV, etc at the weigh station (and waving the semi trucks around) - the traffic was backed up about 2 miles.

Talking to a small fly shop at a RV park we go to for most of the summer in Montana, and they said they were kicking campers out of the campgrounds. I would have to assume is was out of state campers. How ,and why I don't know, but they still have the 14 day quarantine in place, and how they would know the number of days.

I am hoping all that is lifted in June when we are going to go . I suppose if its still in effect, we could be prepared for 14 day quarantine . I have to assume they don't want you in grocery stores ,gas stations etc. That would not be much of a problem where we go , will lhave plenty of food , the river is near by to fish , no need to go anywhere for that 14 days ,suits me just fine [emoticon]
