News this AM about the shortage of Hand Sanitizer. Amazon is taking action against price gougers but the doctor found a 3.00 bottle selling for up to 850 dollars (WOW)

He gave advice on how to make your own
Rubbing alcohol 2/3 Aloe Vera Cream 1/3 Mix well

But he said even better was good old soap and water
Wash for at least 20 seconds.

Home is where I park it.

AFAIK, there is no shortage of Everclear (90% by volume grain alcohol). That, too, sanitizes.
And, you can drink it.

General consensus is the virus has to be scrubbed off.
Soap and water is the trick.
If you wipe down a surface with wipes you should do I for more than 3 min and keep it wet.

Saw a hand washing video on TV. Turn on the water, wet your hands, add soap, scrub, rinse, then turn of the water....the same faucet you touched turning the water on.[emoticon]

I see Walmart is selling 750 ml bottles of Everclear alcohol. I don't know how pysically big that is, but I think I'd prefer a smaller container of regular sanitizer to carry round all day, if one can be found.

Most people can understand pouring into smaller bottle...

Yes I forgot to say in the original post it should be 90% alcohol.

I'm using more soap and water these days. But I also live alone so I normally go out only on Wed (Grocery shopping main trip) and Sunday, Church, Lunch, Bananas Ok so the world has gone bananas but these are the long yellow eatable kind)

There was a article on the news about a person Amazon shut down for price gouging selling hand sanitizer. The person was complaining about not having a outlet to sell 17,700 bottles of hand sanitizer.

And the Tennessee Attorney General has issued a cease and desist order against buying or selling any medical products while he and his brother are being investigated for price gouging.
